Bismillahirrahmaanirrahiim....
In the name of Allah, The Most Gracious and The Most Merciful
Alhamdulillah, All Praise due to Allah SWT. Peace be upon our prophet, Nabi Muhammad and to all his family and relative.
Alhamdulillah..still be given a chance to update this blog. I had the opportunity to attend a 3-days workshop organized by iluvislam.com started on last Friday till Sunday. Only one word could describe the feeling and experience I got; AWESOME!!
Firstly, I would like to give thousand compliments to all JKPs who managed to ensure that everything went smoothly even though they were things might not go fully as planned. This is when we learnt things, right?
Just a little trivia on how I got to be part of iluvislam (iLi) crews. ----Thanks to the HR of iLi---- I started as anonymous, reading, absorbing and gaining a lot of new information and knowledge, (not limited only on religious aspects but, EVERYTHING, as long as it’s called ‘ilmu’) “Ilmu Allah kan luas”. I would say iluvislam.com did contributes indirectly in my hijrah which leads to motivate myself to keep on seeking for ilmu. Subhanallah, Alhamdulillah.. :) Then, I started to share something on forum which made me register as a user and give comments on matter that interest me before there was an advertisement offering to be crews. I was just cube try test nasib applying for English team and being accepted sometime around April 2009.
I admit, starting from the date till last Friday, my contribution to iLi was not really excellent; plus I was still not clear what our focus as English team in iLi. I failed to join many of iLi programs and end-up as some sort of ‘sleeping crew’ of iLi. However, it changed when we were asked to attend the very 1st Kursus Pengurusan Organisasi (KPO’09) which lasted for 3 days. If I’m not mistaken, this was iLi 1st program that took time more than 1 day. Congrates!
At first, I was quite shy to join KPO as it seems that most of the crews had known each other quite well. Must be hard for me to interfere and be part of the circle. I forgot the word ‘family’ that always related to iLi crews. Only during the KPO I felt the sense of ‘family’ among us.
Maybe, this is what we called the beauty of ukhuwwah. Even though we only met for the first time, but everyone here seems to have known each other for quite a long time. We were able to joke to each other, talk as we were close friends before and most unforgettable memory is, we were able to be open-minded and freely remind each other if there is any misbehaves. :)
Through observation, I learnt a lot from every single individual there. Due to time constraint, we might not know everyone ins and outs, but they did teach me ‘something’. It is just ‘something’ that I could not explain. No word could describe how they INSPIRE me to keep on learning and be better day by day. InsyaAllah…
I view iLi as a platform for me to serve and contribute to our people and the most important is to our ummah. As a beginner in this dakwah field, I really need a place for me to feel freely confidence in sharing things and at the same time exchange ideas with people who have same vision and mission.
Apart from that, I was impressed with people behind iLi as many of them are intellectual and innovative in getting things done. In a short period, iLi has reached the upper level and become one of well-known websites. Congrates to the co-founders of iLi..
Experience that is priceless to forget is the feeling of having diskusi ilmiah with all the crews. As I mentioned before, we were like family and freely share things. Whenever there was a free time, it is just a trend for us to have small groups, sitting together and talks about any issues, experience and a lot more! Sanggup korbankan mase tido untuk join same dalam so-called halaqah..macam best jek dengar masing-masing bercerita.
Getting the opportunity to face-to-face and surrounded by this kind of intellect people made me ponder a lot. Suddenly, I feel I know nothing……still have a lot more to learn! :)
The most exciting part was during the exchange presents session. Everyone there got things that have related to them. As Kak As mentioned, it is some sort of ‘magic’…hoho~
- Kak Zulfa had once give her friends the book that she got..
- Wann loves green color and he got a green upin ipin pillow..comey sgt..ok la..kate project manager..he deserves that..
- Faris got ‘tasawuf moden’ as he wanted…die la kate camtu..alhamdulillah..that was from me..hehe..kalau la die bace blog ni, kantoi..;)-
- Ramai yang dapat buku seperti yang dikehendaki..
- I received a book being wrapped in a box with gumpalan kertas..as I planned to do before..last-last sendiri tak buat tapi sendiri yang dapat..huhu..
Kuasa Allah kan…;)

To All iluvislam crews, I LUV U...
May Allah UNITES us to stay together throughout the journey heading to JANNAH..aminn~
